Shirley Ogden Walker passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 while in hospice care from a condition unrelated to the current virus pandemic. She was in the presence of family members when she died. John and Shirley had two children, John Wesley Walker who predeceased her, and daughter Beverly Walker, Dallas TX. Shirley had two sisters, Bette Davis, who predeceased her, Sallie Howze, Ovilla, TX, one brother, Ron and wife Ross Ogden, Austin TX. Both sisters and her brother have several children whom she adored. Ron and Isabel Ross Ogden, children, Jennifer and husband Will Anglin, daughter Claire. Joel and wife Julia Ogden, daughter Aurora. Andrea Ogden. Sallie's children, Barry & Twiletta Howze, Donna Clyce. and Bette's children, Ty Davis, Kenny and Dollin Davis, Terry and Karen Davis. Her Walker family survivors include grandchildren, Jeremy, and wife Anjie Walker, Cody and wife Kerri Walker, Jodie Walker and husband Leo Delgado, Brody and wife Liz Walker. Great Grandchildren, Jayden Walker, Evan Leatherwood, Luke Walker, Jake Walker, and Wesley Walker. Walker in-laws include Mary Beth and husband Don(deceased) Manning, Ruth and husband Henry Williams, beloved nieces and nephews, Debbie and husband Phil Sheppard, Sherry and husband Charles Rogers, Stan and wife Laura Williams. Great nieces and nephews Richard Rogers and financé Yi-Chun Lu, Matthew and wife Amber Rogers, Chelsea and husband TJ Connor, Caitlin and husband Ron Moretz, James and Betty Williams. Great-great nephews and nieces Ezra and Emberly Rogers, Nash and soon-to-be sister Connor. The family is making contributions to the MUSIC Program at First Baptist Church Garland, 801 W Avenue D, Garland, 75040.
